Hillwood Covid-19 Statement to Tenants
Dear Tenants,
We know there is a lot of uncertainty right now and we want to take this time to let you know that we do care about and value our tenants. Please know that we are concerned for your health and safety and we will do our best to provide a safe home for each of you. Unfortunately, the current situation prevents us from operating normally. Therefore, we will be adjusting our operations to provide the necessary services in the safest manner possible. Unless specifically requested or an emergency situation arises we will not enter your apartments for maintenance or repairs.
We are still evaluating the best course of action to take with the Hillwood amenities. The laundry room is essential to many of you, therefore it will remain open and will be cleaned daily. The pool is not scheduled to be opened until the Memorial Day weekend, hopefully it will be safe for all to return to our normal lives by then. We will update you as that date approaches. Unfortunately the fitness facility must be closed until further notice. Again, we care and value each of you and apologize for the dramatic inconvenience the pandemic has caused.
In addition to safety an increase in unemployment claims and job cuts is unavoidable as retail, hospitality, travel and other parts of the consumer-based economy are shuttered. We understand that some of your employers have been required to cease operating by the state and local governments, which will have an effect on your employment. If this occurs, or has already occurred, please contact us immediately. On our end, we promise to listen to your situation and work with you to find the best solution. In return we ask that you are patient and recognize that we have issues to deal with as well. We want you to feel comfortable having an open and honest communication with us.
We are glad you chose us to rent from and we think now is a great time for all of us to realize we are on the same side and work through this together. We know the recent business closures are unsettling and we want to help alleviate that stress as much as we can. Let us all be kind and have patience with each other. Hopefully, this will pass sooner than expected and we can go on with our lives. Until then be safe and please let us know how we can help.
One more thing, when possible we would prefer to support you by buying services and supplies from your employers. Please let us know what services and goods offered by businesses that you work for. In return we will change our purchases as possible.
Thank You,
Hillwood Villas
